Requirements
- Rich experience in Oracle applications
- Ability to understand quickly database designs and read and understand PLSQL code.
- Good understanding of Oracle 11g system services
- Ability to advice application development teams on tuning SQL.
- Strong PLSQL programming skills
- Experience in database design
Advantages
- Good understanding of Oracle 11g system jobs
- Experience in integration with report generation engines is an advantage
- Experience in non-relational database models is a plus
- Ability to tune SQL performance by using different Oracle utilities such as SQL trace, Explain Plan, tkprof & AWR Reports
- Experience in performance tuning on both Windows and Linux platforms
